Aldamót.

Alveg frá því ég man eftir mér hafði ég mikla eftirvæntingu eftir nýrri öld; en batt miklar vonir um framfarir við aldamótin í huga mínum, fólk virðist tengja saman framtíð og framfarir.

Margar myndir frá síðasta tug aldarinnar bera þessu vitni, þó er myndin aldamótaskál hugleiðing um endastöðvar listarinnar, sem þó lifir allt af.

Eina sem ég man eftir núna í sambandi við aldamótin, er eitthvert klúður í sambandi við tölvur og dagsetningar, en tölvukerfið átti að hrynja, ekkert gerðist þó. Tölvu  og internet tæknin er samt breyting sem hefur orðið alt öðruvísi en ég hélt, þó veit ég ekki hvort hún hefur fært okkur eitthvað sem gerir okkur hamingjusamari eða vitrari.

Sjálfur kynntist ég tækni sem hefur, held ég fært mér þá gjöf að finna; sannleikan sem gerir mann frjálsan, þessu trúa fáir þegar ég segi frá, enn allir eru velkomnir í Sahajayoga og það kostar ekkert.

Turn of the century.

Ever since I remembered my self, I had great excitement after the new century; expecting great hopes for progress at the turn of the century in my mind, it seemthat people connect togeter future and progress.

Many paintings of mine, from the last decade of the century witness this, although the panting: “The art party in the turn of the century.” is a meditation about the end of art, which, though it is surviving from bad prediction.

The only thing I remember now about the turn of the century is a clutter on computers and dates, but the computer system was supposed to collapse, but nothing happened. Computer and internet technology is still a change that has become completely different from what I thought, but I do not know if she has brought us something that makes us happier or wiser.

I myself learned a technique that has given me a talent so I can know; “The truth that makes a person free”, just very few believe that when I say so. Still everyone is welcome in Sahajayoga and it costs nothing.
